A fantastic company called Into The Dark Room designed it and and let me tell you their work is about to WOW y'all. I have had the privilege with working with them for the past few months to make this awesome blog a reality. ITDR + rock = missing socks. Check them out!! To see the j.frey photography blog follow the link and be sure to favorite it and visit it often and leave me some love with a comment, or if you prefer a gold star works just as well.

megan loves sean

I was really anticipating this post being the first on the new blog, but... the new blog I just found out is still a few weeks away! The anticipation is killing me. But let me add that it's definitely worth the wait. I have been working with ITDR, IntoTheDarkRoom, and they are phenomenal. Customer service is wonderful. They could have been selling used port-a-potties and I would have bought one for ITDR's customer support alone (True Life Fact: I used to work for a port-a-potty company). But they don't sell those, they make beautiful websites and blogs. Please, check out their work and give them a whirl or a few whirls for that matter. www.intothedarkroom.com Until then...

Sean and Megan are beautiful. Well, Megan is. Sean is ahh...ahh... a beautiful person. They are very dear, that's for sure. And if the amount of tears at their wedding wasn't a testimony of the impact they had on other people, I don't know what was (trying being the photographer and not crying - I gave in a few times). It was great blessing to be a part of their wedding. To see and capture the people who love Sean and Megan and to seem them express that in their words, in their embraces, in their kisses is truly something I would never trade. Sean and Megan, thank you. Thank you for being an inspiration to your family, to your friends, and to me.

españa loves me

I was privileged enough to travel to Spain this past May to take some pictures for a very sweet family. While I was there, I took a few personal pictures. I'd like to share them with you all, especially the ones that characterized the trip for me. The four day trip was mainly spent alone (except for the 1.5hrs spent with the family) which allowed me to cogitate on quite bit of things in my life. No, no it wasn't a self-finding, self-empowering, self-pity, self-exploring trip. It was merely a trip for one, and I loved every minute of it. The best thing about traveling by yourself is that you get to decide when you're ready to see something new. I stayed up late, walked everywhere, ate at restaurants with gorgeous views, and took pictures all at my leisure. Well, here are some pictures. ryan loves morgan

Ahh, yes. Back in good ole Pittsburgh for a wonderful time with Ryan and Morgan. Oh my, what a sweet and delightful and gentle couple. Such sincere love for one another. The kind that influences everyone around them. And both of them are pretty dang smart (becoming physical therapists). I was only slightly intimidated.

Al rincon caliente me voy. All the young people in Cuba will say that Buena Vista Social Club is only for old people. I like Buena Vista Social Club. And I do like wearing cardigans and can't wait until I can start playing boccie ball competitively. So...I guess their logic works. I am old. Music to make you dance: Candela
P.S. Morgan, I saw your haircut on Fb and I love it!
